Accessibility Statement

Last updated · June 2026

We want HIKMA to be usable by as many people as possible, including students who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes our commitment, where we stand, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Hit an accessibility barrier, or need an accessible alternative to something in HIKMA? Email [email protected] and we'll help.

Our commitment

Accessibility is part of how we build HIKMA, not an afterthought. We aim for an interface that works with keyboards and screen readers, has sufficient color contrast, respects reduced-motion preferences, and presents content in a clear, consistent structure.

Target conformance

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Current status

HIKMA is under active development. While much of the product already aligns with our target, we know some areas do not yet fully conform. In particular, complex or highly interactive medical visualizations — such as branching-case diagrams and certain data displays — may not yet offer a fully equivalent experience to assistive-technology users. We are improving these areas over time.

Requesting an accessible alternative

If you encounter content you can't access — or you'd find a different format more usable — contact us at [email protected]. Tell us what you were trying to do and the page or feature involved, and we will work to provide the information or functionality in an accessible way.

Reporting a barrier

We welcome your feedback. If something is hard to use with your assistive technology, or you find an accessibility bug, please let us know at [email protected]. Where helpful, include:

  • The page or feature, and what you were trying to do.
  • The assistive technology, browser, and operating system you were using.
  • What happened and what you expected to happen.

Your reports directly shape our priorities, and we're grateful for them. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and will keep this statement updated as the product improves.
